Perfecting The Content Of Your Work

First of all you need to have your work ready. Obviously we can not write your manuscript for you.

Earthling Creation only accepts work which is completed to an adequate standard.  

It does not need to be perfect however. Spelling and grammatical errors are expected and are what we provide our Step 1 services for.

We will inform you of any mistakes and/or to correct them for you.

What is important is that all of the parts of your work are presented in logical reading order and that it is provided to us in one of the following formats:

So, you would like to publish your work and allow others to see and/or hear your words, hold your book(s) in their hands and/or access them via the Internet and/or Kindle? Internet and computer technology means that today, all of these options are available to you without having to pay for or persistently pester a literary agent to pester an established publishing house.

But where do you start?

Publishing with Earthling Creation is straight forward and easy. We have created three simple steps for you to follow. If you have a manuscript prepared and waiting, if you are in the middle of writing one (or many), or just thinking about writing, then read about our services and products below.   

Preparing Your Work For Publication

Before proceeding with the preparations for the publishing and printing of your manuscript it must be proof read.  

If it has not been proof read go to Step 1.

If your manuscript was edited and proof read prior to providing it to Earthling Creation then we must read through it and check it (Proof Check) before we can publish it with an ISBN listing.

Step 2 involves the laying out of your work into an appropriate and ideal format. We will tidy your manuscript and ensure that fonts, headers, contents pages, index pages, bibliographies, citations, page numbering, page borders and dimensions are all adequate for the publishing and printing stage. During the era of printing presses this was known as Typesetting.  In the age of digital publishing we call it ‘Typesetting’ - not everything changes.

PUBLICATION -

Printing, Distribution, Sales and Marketing

Before publishing your work and giving it an ISBN listing it needs to have been Typeset and/or Proof Checked by Earthling Creation. See Step  2.

If your work is to be published as a book, e-book or audio book we can give it a 13 digit ISBN (International Standard Book Number).

PRINTING OPTIONS

• We offer a number of full colour or black & white printing options.
• We can set up POD (Print on Demand) via Lulu and/or Amazon to minimise handling and distribution costs to yourself.

• We also offer Bulk Printing (via our associated printers).  Our bulk printing costs are far cheaper than Lulu’s and Amazon’s allowing you to distribute your book to individual customers or retailers from your home or office.

DISTRIBUTION SERVICES

• FREE REGISTRATION of books published by Earthling Creation with Nielsens and with the British Library.
• We offer online retail distribution packages for your title on Lulu, Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk and other web based market places and will set up distribution accounts on your behalf.
• FREE listing on the Earthling Creation Bookshelf  for books published by us.
• If you are an ex-service man/woman or if your book’s topic is of a ‘military’ or ‘action thriller’ nature - factual or fiction - it will also be placed on the Book Section of the NationalEx ServicesAssociation website FOR FREE.

MARKETING OPTIONS

• We create colourful e-mail marketing templates for you to advertise your book in emails.
